Is There Uber in Puerto Iguazú?
No. Uber, Cabify, DiDi, and other ride-hailing apps don't operate in Puerto Iguazú. The same goes for Foz do Iguaçu on the Brazilian side. It's a tourist area where transportation works differently than in big cities. How Do I Get Around?
#### 1. Private Transfer (the best option)
Book in advance, fixed price, assigned driver waiting for you at the airport or hotel. Ideal for:
- IGR Airport → hotel
- Hotel → Iguazu Falls (Argentine or Brazilian side)
- Full-day excursions
#### 2. Taxi / Remís
There are taxi stands downtown and at the airport. The price is negotiated before getting in (no meter). It can be more expensive than a pre-booked transfer.
#### 3. Public Bus
There's a bus line from downtown to the National Park (Río Uruguay company). It runs every 20-30 minutes. It's the cheapest option but has fixed schedules and can be crowded during peak season.
There's no bus from the airport to downtown. Only taxi or transfer.#### 4. Walking
Downtown Puerto Iguazú is small and walkable. From the bus terminal to the main avenue is a 10-minute walk. But the park is 18 km away, so you'll need transportation.

For the airport and excursions, book a private transfer. It's safer, punctual, and the price is locked in before you travel. To get around downtown, walk — Puerto Iguazú is compact and safe.
